P1DGN NH35 Movement Guide

Operating Your P1DGN Automatic Watch

Your P1DGN timepiece is powered by the reliable NH35 automatic movement. Designed for hard use and everyday wear, the NH35 is self-winding through normal wrist movement and can also be hand-wound when needed.

Winding the Watch

If your watch has stopped running, unscrew the crown (if equipped with a screw-down crown) and rotate the crown clockwise approximately 20–30 turns. This will provide enough power to start the movement. Normal daily wear will continue to wind the watch automatically.

Setting the Time

  1. Unscrew the crown if your watch has a screw-down crown.
  2. Pull the crown out to the second position.
  3. Rotate the hands to the desired time.
  4. Push the crown back in and screw it down securely to maintain water resistance.

Setting the Date

  1. Pull the crown out to the first position.
  2. Rotate the crown to advance the date.
  3. Set the date to the current day.
  4. Push the crown back in and secure the crown if applicable.

Important: Date Setting Warning

Never use the quick-set date function when the watch displays a time between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM.

During this period, the movement’s automatic date-change mechanism is engaged. Using the quick-set date feature while the date gears are operating can damage the movement and may require repair.

If you are unsure whether the watch is showing AM or PM:

  1. Pull the crown to the time-setting position.
  2. Advance the hands until the date changes.
  3. Continue setting the correct time.
  4. Once the hands indicate a time outside the 9:00 PM–3:00 AM range, use the quick-set date function if needed.

Water Resistance Reminder

Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in and, if applicable, screwed down before exposing your watch to water. An improperly secured crown can compromise water resistance.
